C & D Council Meeting

As this is the final meeting of 2022, our main agenda items are to hold our council election to give the opportunity for new leadership, as well as to begin planning for action projects that were identified through Recycle Colorado's Policy Committee that will support the growth of C&D material recovery in Colorado in the coming years. Council Leadership Election
At the end of each year we open up for nominations for our three leadership positions. You are welcome to throw your hat in the ring during the meeting, or if you can't attend in person, please email our board liaison Emily Wilson ([email protected]) with which position you want to run for to be announced during the meeting. A vote will be held anonymously after the meeting if there are multiple people running for any positions.
1. Chair - Coordinating and leading meetings, creating agendas, representing the C&D material stream in Recycle Colorado planning.
2. Vice Chair - Shared responsibilities with Chair.
3. Recorder - Primarily responsible for taking minutes. May also help with organizing shared documents and other resources.
Action Projects
We want to support additional communities across Colorado to develop their own C&D diversion policies. To do this, we will create a C&D Policy Toolkit that can guide communities on how to think through policy development and implementation, as well as a recycling guide that lists available recycling infrastructure and end markets for C&D materials across the state.
