Rural Recycling Policy Committee

The Rural Recycling Committee was formed in 2021 by rural Recycle Colorado members to address the unique needs of rural communities in Colorado. The group serves all rural Coloradans both in the plains and mountains. The group came up with three recommendations to address rural Colorado recycling needs:

1) Changes in regulatory requirements
2) Support a shared, traveling equipment program
3) Create incentives for rural composting facilities and end-market products.
