Each year, Recycle Colorado staff, members, and volunteers head to the Colorado Capitol to meet with legislators to discuss legislation and waste diversion challenges. This is a way for anyone who wants to support new diversion initiatives and meet with their Senator and Representative. Materials and training is provided each year and newbies are encouraged to join.
We are excited to have you advocate with us for at the Capitol on March 12th!Â
This year we will be talking to legislators about the importance of reclaimed lumber and organics diversion to lay the groundwork for future legislation. We will also be lobbying bills we’ll be supporting as determined by our policy review over the next several weeks.

8:00 AM – Set up, sign in, and advocate group organization at the West Foyer at the Capital.

11:30 AM - 4:00 PM – Lunch and office meetings with legislators.
