Join Colorado Composting Council
Why should you become a member of the COCC?
With its strong local, state, and national affiliations, the Colorado Composting Council (COCC) is uniquely positioned to drive progress and unite people and organizations across the composting industry. Your voice is essential to advancing the practices, policies, and markets that will shape the future of organics diversion and composting in Colorado.
Instructions for joining the Colorado Composting Council Membership
Because the COCC is a committee of Recycle Colorado, it is necessary to be a member of Recycle Colorado to join the COCC.Â
The COCC is also the Colorado state chapter of the US Composting Council (USCC). A USCC membership is required to be a voting member of the COCC, but voting is not necessary to participate in the work and activities of the COCC so a USCC membership is not required.
Through its association with Recycle Colorado and the USCC, the COCC advocates to improve composting infrastructure, end markets, product standards and policy, and therefore encourages participants to be voting members if possible.
Membership Options
As a compost professional in Colorado, it is important that you have a voice and a vote in your leading organics industry organization. Full voting membership in the Colorado Composting Council (COCC) requires membership in both our national compost association, the US Composting Council (USCC), and our state material management non-profit, Recycle Colorado (RC). The COCC is a state chapter of the USCC that is connected to Recycle Colorado. Through its association with the USCC and RC, the COCC advocates to improve composting infrastructure, end markets, product standards and policy.
