Statewide Producer Responsibility Advisory Board looking for manufacturer of recycled paper products representative

The new Producer Responsibility Program for Statewide Recycling is accepting applications for a manufacturer of recycled paper products (not a producer) representative to serve as a member of the Producer Responsibility Advisory Board. The Producer Responsibility Program requires producers of packaging, paper products, and food service ware to fund a statewide recycling system to recycle those materials. One of the program objectives is to develop a convenient, cost-effective statewide recycling system with free and equitable recycling for all residents. The advisory board will ensure the program equitably meets the needs of local Colorado communities and businesses. The manufacturer of recycled paper products member seat is open to any person from a company who does not qualify as a producer under the Program. A producer includes a person who manufactures recycled paper products marked with their own brand, a person who does not manufacture but uses, sells, or distributes recycled paper products in Colorado under their own brand or trademark, and a person who does not manufacture but uses, sells or distributes recycled paper products in Colorado under a licensed brand or trademark.

If you are interested in applying or know someone who would be a good candidate, please submit an advisory board application by November 20th.
