College Student Challenge: Win a scholarship to the annual Summit for Recycling conference in Colorado

Recycle Colorado is seeking candidates for its Future Leaders Program. This scholarship provides funds for college students to attend the 2020 Summit for Recycling conference in Denver.

Learn about career opportunities in the recycling, materials management and sustainability fields, while connecting with private businesses, local government, nonprofits, and university representatives. The conference agenda includes educational sessions, a variety of subject-matter experts, a business partner showcase, site tours, recycling awards, and other fun networking events. Not only will you win an industry mentor throughout the event, the scholarship also includes your registration, shared lodging, and meals associated with the conference.

To Apply
Candidates studying environmental sciences, sustainability, engineering, marketing or business programs, and related fields, are highly encouraged to apply. Applicants must currently be attending a two- or four-year college or university in Colorado.

Eligible students may visit to fill out the online application. Responses are due by Friday, July 3, at 4:00 PM. Applications will be reviewed by a panel of collegiate and industry representatives. Recipients will be announced by July 24.
