Updates from the Board President

2019 is off to an exciting start for Recycle Colorado. I would like to take this opportunity to highlight some of our new updates.

Have Your Checked Out Our Website Yet?

Along with our sleek new name and logo, our website has gotten a facelift. Not only does it have a new design, it also has several interactive components specially geared toward our members. Here are just a couple of the new features available to you through our new website.

  • Organization Calendar - Under the events tab you will find Recycle Colorado’s calendar with upcoming events for the year. Whether you are interested in attending a webinar, committee meeting or board meeting, you will be able to get information for the desired event and seamlessly add it to your calendar.
  • Member Circles - Our new website features Circles that will make it even easier for all of our members around the state to participate in our committees, councils and actions. We have a central hub for our members to easily collaborate on action projects and committees together. Circles allow members to message each other one-on-one, participate in community forums and upload/share documents with one another. If you are interested in joining an action group, committee or council, you can do this directly through our website!

Keep an eye out for upcoming webinars later this spring to introduce all of the new tools and capabilities of our new website. We hope this new tool will make it easier than ever for our members to work together.

Register for the 2019 Summit for Recycling Conference

Super Early-Bird Registration opens February 25. With this year’s theme, “Now is the Time," the Summit for Recycling will take a deep dive into opportunities and challenges facing Colorado to increase waste diversion across the state. The agenda is complete with breakout sessions, action projects, a variety of presenters, a business partner showcase, site tours, recycling awards, silent auction and, of course, plenty of networking opportunities. Join hundreds of industry, government, business and non-profit organizations to tackle many of the challenges facing the state of recycling head-on at this year’s summit, June 9-11. Super early-bird registration rates expire March 17.
