The 2025 NextCycle Colorado Pitch Competition showcased the culmination of a six-month business accelerator program designed to promote circular economy-based ventures and foster innovation in sustainable design, reuse, repair, compost, recycling, and material recovery solutions for end markets in Colorado. Funded by the Colorado Circular Communities (C3) Enterprise, this program supports teams in advancing their circular ventures to create impactful solutions within the state.
Longmont, CO – Last month, Recycle Colorado announced the departure of its treasured Executive Director, Dr. Elizabeth (Liz) Chapman, slated to leave her post in early June. Since that announcement, Recycle Colorado has been in search of its new leader. We are thrilled to announce that Brandy Moe has accepted the position of Executive Director of Recycle Colorado effective June 9, 2025.
The National Recycling Coalition (NRC) has reviewed processes that are being researched, developed, and commercialized to convert used plastic into molecular or petrochemical feedstocks, fuels, gases, oils, or waxes has developed this statement to provide NRC policy regarding so-called “chemical recycling” and “advanced recycling.”
On May 14, 2025, Colorado’s Producer Responsibility Advisory Board submitted its approval recommendation memo for LPMA Powered by Interchange 360’s amended Individual Program Plan (IPP). As per HB22-1355, with CDPHE (the Department) in receipt of the board’s recommendation, the public comment period for LPMA powered by Interchange 360's amended Individual Program Plan is now open.

The third phase of Longmont’s Universal Recycling Ordinance (URO) has begun implementation as of Jan. 1, 2025, requiring organics (composting) collection for food wholesalers, distributers, manufacturers and grocery stores.

They invite professionals, academics, and practitioners to submit proposals for engaging and informative sessions that showcase cutting-edge research, successful case studies, and actionable insights.
Among other recyclable materials, the CEDC’s Circular Transportation Network (CTN) collects LDPE and HDPE film plastics including film wrap, plastic bags, ziplock bags, bubble wrap and more.
In alignment with the CEDC’s mission to develop circular economies within Colorado, support local economies, and keep materials circulating at their highest value, the CEDC recently launched the Circular Transportation Network (CTN). The CTN is a collaboration between the CEDC, Front Range Transload, and B. Kirkland Trucking made possible by a grant from the Colorado Circular Communities Enterprise Fund.
