Brandy Moe is a passionate advocate for sustainable materials management and circular economy solutions in Colorado. As the new Executive Director of Recycle Colorado, Brandy brings years of experience and deep dedication to the organization, having previously served as Vice President of the Board of Directors and Co-Chair of the Policy Committee.
Brandy brings a wealth of experience from both the nonprofit and private sectors, including her most recent role as Municipal Administrator of Government Affairs and Community Relations for Republic Services in Colorado. Her background also includes leading statewide paint stewardship efforts with PaintCare and strengthening glass recycling infrastructure through her work with Momentum Recycling.
Raised in rural western North Dakota, Brandy has a deep appreciation for the unique needs and strengths of both rural and urban communities. She is committed to representing and supporting all corners of Colorado, building partnerships that help advance waste diversion, recycling, and composting across the state. Brandy holds a Master of Applied Science in Environmental Policy and Management with a concentration in Environmental Health and Safety from the University of Denver, and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of North Dakota.
With a collaborative spirit and a strong belief in the power of community, Brandy is honored to lead Recycle Colorado and help shape a more sustainable future for all Coloradans.
Ally joined Recycle Colorado shortly after graduating from the University of North Dakota and moving to Colorado. Eager to jump into the waste diversion space and learn as much as she could, Recycle Colorado offered her the perfect opportunity.
Almost 4 years later, she has a grasp on just about every aspect of Recycle Colorado's operations and is a friend to almost every member. She is thankful her board, co-workers and members trusted her along her journey, giving her the space to be creative and help support Recycle Colorado as it continued to grow. Everyday she continues to learn and be amazed by the great work being done to improve waste diversion in Colorado.
In her free time, Ally enjoys traveling, rock climbing, running and skiing. She is proud of her huge garden that she grows with her fiancé and cats, Kitters and Benji.
