June 2nd - 4th | Grand Junction Convention Center
The Summit for Recycling annual conference is the biggest statewide networking and educational event focused on capturing the value in our waste streams. We are excited to have you join us for learning, networking, and local tours. The Western Slope is actively making progress in recycling, composting, and waste prevention. Email us if you would like to get involved as a speaker, sponsor, or volunteer for 2025. Grand Junction here we come!
We invite you to submit a Summit Session or Keynote Proposal
This can be a 45-90 minute breakout session, workshop, or keynote presentation. Review previous ideas using out event archive.
Theme for 2025: Theme for 2025: United by Understanding
This year’s Summit is focused on eliminating jargon for clear communication to unite Colorado's regions, industries, and communities in the recovery of resources currently discarded.
Possible Session Topic Areas
- Recycling systems, infrastructure, policy, education, and research
- Organics recycling, compost infrastructure, education, policy, and research
- Program Outreach (messaging, accessibility, marketing, resource development)
- Construction, Deconstruction, & Demolition material recovery, and recycling
- Waste Diversion material safety & facility improvements (glass, battery, medical waste, etc.)
- Innovative use of materials, circularity and end-markets (compost, recyclable materials, building materials)
- Regional, state, and national trends
Complete our form to submit your session idea by January 24th, 2025. Recycle Colorado will notify individuals whose proposals are selected in late February 2025.
