• Self driving tour of a variety of composting facilities. Will include demonstrations of processing, monitoring and sampling equipment. Tour locations to be announced but will be in northeast Colorado.

Instructors for the 2-day training are:

MATTHEW COTTON of Integrated Waste Management Consulting, LLC. Matt has worked in organics and solid waste management since 1986. He has served as a consultant, educator, researcher, and advocate for new and expanded organics recycling and composting programs in California and beyond.

SHAWN BRUCKMAN, of Honeywagon Organics, is the Compost Operations Manager. Honeywagon Organics is a Class III commercial compost facility owned by Waste Connections. Shawn is a twice published author, a Certified Compost Operations Manager and Co-Chair of the Colorado Compost Council.
