In June 2022, Colorado passed HB22-1355, a law requiring producers of packaging to create a producer responsibility program to manage packaging in the State. Recognizing that used petroleum and petroleum related products and packaging are better managed independently of other packaging materials, the Lubricant Packaging Management Association 'LPMA' (a national non-profit) powered by Interchange 360 was created in 2024.
The intention of Interchange 360 is to develop a program in accordance with HB22-1355. As part of program development, Interchange 360 is seeking baseline data on the current state of end-of-life management for used motor oil and used motor oil packaging in Colorado.
Interchange has engaged the Signalfire Group to administer this survey. Signalfire Group is an independent subsidiary of Resource Recycling Systems, Inc. (RRS) that provides support to businesses and governments around the globe that seek to move toward a circular economy.
To help our planning, we would appreciate 5-10minutes of your time to respond to the following survey by Friday November 15, 2024.
