This role will support and advance waste reduction and diversion efforts within the City of Aspen consistent with the organization’s values and mission statement. This position will monitor the Rio Grande Recycle Center to ensure only the appropriate materials are in the containers; will assist residents, businesses, and HOA’s in utilizing curbside recycling services; will help in educational efforts to help the community comply with local regulations; work in collaboration with Waste Diversion and Recycling Program Administrator to advance Aspen’s waste diversion and Greenhouse Gas reduction goals. This is high public contact work requiring a high level of customer service consistent with the organization’s values and mission statement.
