The purpose of this RFA is to fund projects that lead to new opportunities to divert waste from landfills. The intent of this solicitation is to offer “mini-grants '' through a simplified application process for small-scale projects that meet the goals of the RREO program.
A total of $375,000 is available to fund multiple projects. The maximum amount of funds an applicant can request is $25,000 and the minimum that can be requested is $5,000. Grantees must spend their full grant award by June 30, 2022. Funding is made possible through the Recycling Resources Economic Opportunity (RREO) Fund.
Please note that one round of written questions will be accepted and answers will be published online. The Q&A schedule is as follows:
- Deadline to submit written questions – June 13, 2021, 3 p.m.
- Answers published – June 18, 2021, 5 p.m.
